  6. I absolutely loved this recipe!!! However, I can’t update my blog because my laptop died…and I don’t know how to upload pics to my blog from my I-Pad…technology…ugh.

    I look forward to seeing all of the other versions. Hopefully, I can post sometime today!

  7. I made a vegetarian version also but kept most of the same ingredients as in Bittman’s recipe. I topped it with garlic bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. A delicious white bean-vegetable stew–thanks for the pick, Keely! This recipe also finally got me to bit the bullet and cook beans instead of being lazy and using canned. Really, I don’t know why I don’t cook my beans all the time other than that I often figure out what I want to eat right when I am so hungry that I need to make it then and there! Overall, turned out to be a recipe I would definitely make again.
