I loved these! Ended up tossing some roasted sweet potatoes and green beans with the soy drizzling sauce. http://www.joanne-eatswellwithothers.com/2012/09/recipe-edamame-cakes-with-roasted-sweet.html
I made the sesame-chili modification on the sauce and will definitely be using it on other things, too. Great choice, Kathleen + Tom.

These were a hit! I used the cranberry shelling besns I had in my CSA box and made up the different with fresh peas. Delicious. http://culinary-adventures-with-cam.blogspot.com/2012/09/cranberry-shelling-bean-cakes-with.html
“made up the difference”…sorry this is all pre-coffee.
We loved this dish! We made the cakes with an addictive spicy soy dipping sauce and summer rolls, a great combination!

Thanks for the pick, Kathleen and Tom! Mine turned out to be more patty than pancake but they were a great appetizer that way. I served them on a bed of shaved radishes and carrots topped with a roasted red bell pepper aoli with the soy drizzling sauce on the side. Yum!

I made the recipe straight up. It was the drizzling sauce that really made this recipe great! I could put it on everything.

I agree with everyone about that drizzle sauce. Since I bought a metric poop ton of zucchini at the market, I used the drizzle sauce to spice up a raw zucchini salad. Instead of soy, we used coconut aminos and it was still fabtabulous.
We hope everyone loved these! We did!

This was a fun dish! I skipped the sauce and made Garlicky Edamame Cakes. I served with Veggie Stir Fry.

i did not have any edamame on hand, so i failed to make this week’s recipe… all these delicious looking dishes you all made are making me so jealous though!
My food processor is already packed up buhh. So I made edamame risotto with Kale, Papaya and carrots.
These were terrific with my husband’s soy steamed Ling Cod…YUM!

These were so fun! I added some cilantro to the batter and some chili oil to the drizzle then served them with seared scallops over a bed of baby spinach and rice.
Thanks for a great pick Kathleen and Tom!
My husband hijacked my batter and made pancakes with a different herb in each one. They were great! I served them with an Asian Slaw and used the slaw dressing for the cakes. Great pick Kathleen + Tom.
