  1. It was a very BUSY Mother’s Day weekend so I’m making this tonight however….I just made the spice and it is really spicy! I used California chile powder and even though I tasted it I did not expect it to be so hot. I was going to mix it with potatoes to go along with a Japanese-style glazed pan seared salmon but that’s not going to work out flavor wise. I think I’m going to make a sauce with the spice, to top the salmon and served it over grated potatoes. I will report back tomorrow.

  2. Sorry ladies, so I did make this dish (although I used potatoes and broccoli). Unfortunately, I really didn’t like the sauce- something just didn’t taste right to me. So I’ll have to pass this week. Fortunately, I tasted the sauce before pouring it over the potatoes/broccoli, so I was able to have the roasted veg on the side with dinner yesterday.
