I put chopped fresh herbs and Parmesan in my polenta when it came off the stove and then topped it with gorgonzola before baking. Loved your pick Sandra!
Sorry, my comment got cut off. Great choice, Sandra! I love polenta and how versatile it is. I topped mine with garlicky mushrooms and baked delicata squash.
We’ve had 2 failed kitchen experiments the last 2 weeks, so frustrating! Although this one didn’t turn out exactly as the recipe, it was still a delicious dinner!
Hello everyone! My name is Angie and I blog at Island Plate. This is my first time joining in and so I glad I did! This recipe was really delicious. I stayed with the exact recipe because you really cannot go wrong with those ingredients. My link is here: http://islandplate.blogspot.com/2013/01/food-matters-project-polenta-with.html
I haven’t made the polenta cakes yet as I spent much of my Sunday dealing with an unwelcome houseguest. (More in the post.) But I did make the mushrooms to go on a homemade pizza last night and they were divine.
Looking forward to reading all these posts this week!
I really enjoyed using a variety of mushrooms in this.
